A Woman Was In Shock After Her Car Was Stolen. But Then She Found This Strange Note And Some Cash.

Erin Hatzi from Portland, Oregon, US, left her trusty Subaru parked outside her home one evening, as usual. When she woke up to find the car gone, she was in shock — until she found a strange note and some cash.

Facebook

Watching the CCTV of their driveway, Erin and her husband spotted a woman calmly get into the car, clearly in no rush, and drive away.

“We were really confused,” said Erin, “It didn’t seem like the normal actions of a car thief. You wouldn’t think they’d sit there idle in the owners driveway for two or three minutes.”

Facebook

And then things get even stranger. At the police station, filing a report for the stolen car, Erin’s husband spotted a woman outside being stopped by an officer — as she stepped out of the stolen car.

The thief had written a note and left money for Erin, saying: “Hello, so sorry I stole your car. I sent my friend with my key to pick up my red Subaru and she came back with your car.”

Facebook

“I did not see the car until this morning and I said, ‘That is not my car’. There is some cash for gas and I more than apologize for the shock and upset this must have caused you.”

The woman also left a contact number for Erin to get in touch if she wanted.

The note ended, “Police confirm that older Subaru keys are sometimes interchangeable.”

ReplaceCarKey

Erin says that they were able to laugh off the bizarre mix-up, and it’s true that some car keys can indeed be used on similar models.

We’re just glad this lady realized her mistake and was kind enough to explain. Faith in humanity: restored.

Acid Attack Survivor Says Gory Halloween Makeup Is “Distasteful And Offensive”

Halloween just wouldn’t be complete without lashings of fake blood and gory makeup (or, “gore-overs”), but an acid attack survivor has slammed the bloody tradition.

YouTube

Katie Piper, 33, who is now a TV personality and body-positive campaigner, was scarred for life in 2008 when her ex-boyfriend hired a man to throw acid in her face.

Pinterest

Katie has since undergone over 300 surgeries since the horrific attack.

She posted a passionate statement to her 365,000 followers on Wednesday describing fake burns, scars, and disfigurements as “distasteful and offensive”.

#Strengthis not letting other peoples opinions of me define me @SpecialK_UK #ad

A photo posted by Katie Piper (@katiepiper_) on

“It’s not even Halloween and I’ve already had over 20 photos on my feed of makeup artists posting their Halloween gore make overs,” she wrote.

“It’s distasteful and offensive to make temporary burns, scars, and disfigurements on someone’s face for Halloween. Some of us have these visible differences all year round.”

“When did Halloween turn into people imitating accident victims?” she finished.

“I enjoy Halloween as much as the next person but please don’t dress up as someone that has had a trauma happen to them,” she added, “Even if you don’t care about other people’s feelings, how about remembering none of us are immune and it could be you one day with those injuries, no Halloween makeup needed.”

“Pumpkins, witches, cats, bats, whatever — but not someone who has been seriously injured please.”

Katie’s post has sparked debate as some insist there’s nothing “offensive” about Halloween makeup, while others argue Katie has a point.

So has Halloween makeup gone too far, or is Katie overreacting?

Shower and in bed watching cartoons with B- this has been the best holiday!

A Fitness Blogger Started A #CelluliteSaturday Hashtag And Now Women Of All Shapes And Sizes Are Celebrating Their Cellulite

cellulite

Canadian body activist and vlogger Kenzie Brenna has had just abut enough of cellulite being something to be ignored and ashamed of — she started the hashtag #CelluliteSaturday on Instagram last month to remind everyone cellulite is totally normal.

Cellulite affects around 90% of women and 10% of men, and people of all shapes and sizes can have it. Just because it’s Photoshopped from snaps of super skinny models, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

#cellulitesaturday? Can that be a thing? Last time I posted a picture of me TRYING to embrace a part of my body that I have been trying to change forever, 2 things happened. 1. A lot of women and even a few men came forward and said amazinggggg things like "thanks, your dope I need this, I NEED to see more of this, I WANT to see more of this, keep doing what you're doing, yes to normal bodies, etc." the incredible comments kept going, of people sharing their own struggles with trying to accept their bodies, to some women who don't even have cellulite embracing my body – THAT my friends is what this bopo community is all about. 2. Second thing that happened was obviously, the opposite. "Disgusting, gross, cellulite is not healthy, don't encourage kids or women to be unhealthy, nasty, wtf, if you exercise or rub cream or do-this-thing-that-makes-no-sense it will help you get rid of it" that shit went on, in my DM's and in the public comments. I am not going to sit here and write to you what cellulite is, what it ISN'T or try to bang it into your head that yes, my dear friends "thin + healthy + fit" women also have cellulite, I am going to let you do your own research. You have google and you have can DM if you want to have a CONVERSATION exchanging opinions, facts and resources to help us BRIDGE gaps instead of create bigger ones. I exercise 5x a week, I will murder you at cardio (my cardiovascular system is off the hizzy), I foam roll, I do yoga, I stretch, I eat my greens and I drink over a gallon of water every day. I used to use creams, I used to dry brush, I got massages and considered surgery. SO, don't tell me that I have to be more fit, more healthy, more this, more that, don't tell me to try your cream or that I need to create more blood flow to the places where my cellulite exists. Cause bish, I got chu. Been there done that. My friends, my cellulite is here to stay. And I am fucking okay with that. #bodyacceptance #celluliteyoualrite #namaslay #thisiswhatfitlookslike #embracethesquish #mesosquishy #mermaidthighs #iamallwoman #tbcr <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />

My friends, my cellulite is here to stay. And I am f*cking okay with that.”

GOOD MORNINGGGG âœšâ˜€ïžđŸŒŽ So, today is #cellulitesaturday 💆💜 Let's talk stats ok? These are pretty wild to me. 42% of girls in grade 1-3 want to be thinner <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 78 fucking % of 17 year old girls are unhappy with their bodies <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> "Teenage girls are more afraid of gaining weight then getting cancer, losing their parents or nuclear war." <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> In 2013 the American Medical Association created a policy that really didn't go anywhere, stating that the effects of digitally altering images to impressionable youth were so harmful they cause HEALTH PROBLEMS. I'm not fucking making this shit up people. And did it do anything? Nope. That's why offering up my #realbody, unedited, unfiltered for you to look at, for trolls to rip apart, is important because we have LITERALLY FORGOTTEN WHAT REAL BODIES LOOK LIKE. To quote WIKIPEDIA "cellulite occurs in 80-90% of women, the prevailing medical condition is that it's 'merely the normal condition of many women.'" <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />NORMAL. It's fucking NORMAL.<img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> With stats above it drives me so hard so that way my future daughters and sons grow up with more real images of bodies around them than I did. To pray their mental and physical health isn't as affected as mine was. #fuckyeahhhhh #thisbody #celluliteisokay #bodyconfidence #nobodyshame #recovery #bodyimage #bodyimageissues #cellulite

A photo posted by Kenzie B (@omgkenzieee) on

And people everywhere were more than happy to jump on the hashtag and celebrate their cellulite.

No filters, no edits, no sucking in, no nothing. Just smack dab in the middle of some good ol' "flaw" showing sunlight. Lighting can fully change how someone looks; and odds are, most of the women you know have had their pictures taken in lighting that hides their "flaws" the most, out of either insecurity or shame. But reality is, the vast majority of women have cellulite, scars or stretch marks on their bodies. It's in our biology, and it's simply how our bodies are meant to grow, slim down and store fat. Diet industries and public figures have caused such a stir about how our bodies "should" look like, that we've forgotten how to embrace ourselves as we naturally are. We've got our minds so rapped up into looking like one particular body, that we've lost conscious of how impossible it is for two bodies to be exactly alike. Our own damn bodies don't even look the same throughout the lengths of a day, yet we're still falling for a social ideal which simply cannot be met? To love yourself as you are, and move towards a better you, you have learn more about yourself and your body first. It takes time, and it takes strength, and you will have your downfalls, but I promise you, there is no greater feeling than embracing yourself for who you truly are💕 #cellulitesaturday From: @deegetsstronger #HoneyLoves

“Cellulite isn’t an indication of health, and it isn’t an indication of self-worth,” added Kenzie, “I hope that when people click on the hashtag, they recognize it’s a part of our bodies that can be totally acceptable and we don’t have to get rid of it.”

“This is just another aspect of having a physical body.”

Outtake turned favorite shot for #cellulitesaturday hosted by my girl @omgkenzieee . She shared some seriously eye opening statistics this morning about the epidemic that is body image distortion plaguing our young people. I find so much value and passion in my work with young teen girls, teaching them the foundations of self love so that they don't wait until they're 30+ to start discovering how amazing they are with my nonprofit @girlphoria . We can make a difference by creating an open environment to talk about the expectations and the realities. I don't put bathing suits on and flaunt my body for attention or validation. I do it for the young girls and women trying to find someone that looks like them in a sea of photo shopped bodies. In short- body diversity. Representation of all the different ways you can look with emphasis that there is no right or wrong wayđŸ€”. This is why you'll find me sharing the parts of me that make me uncomfortable. So that I can provide peace for just one girl that she is worthy, cellulite and all. As always babes, just do you! Xoxo Allie

Despite the misconception that only overweight or unhealthy people have cellulite, the #CelluliteSaturday movement is proving, one photo at a time, that ANYONE can have it. And it doesn’t matter one little bit.

IF YOU TRY TO SELL ME YOUR CELLULITE TREATMENT, I DON'T WANT IT. đŸ˜· Now thats out of the way
This girl goes to the gym 4-5x a week. She weightlifts, includes cardio and plyometrics, she eats a personal well balanced diet and has for the last year. For those of you who comment and tell me "if you only lost ten pounds your cellulite would go away," without having researched my page to see I have lost over 50 pounds and yes my cellulite appear has reduced but it has not "gone away." Here are the stats again: 93% of women have cellulite. AND- You have a 90% chance of developing cellulite if you're a woman. <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />If those stats don't make you feel at home and normal in your body I don't know what will <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> We have made it a "COSMETIC issue" not an indication of health. This is straight from the doc's mouth, not mine. It has to do with a combination of genetics and hormones. Which you can really only fuck with to a certain extent. THE ONLY WAY TO REMOVE CELLULITE IS TO REMOVE FAT. Can you remove fat through a topical cream? By massaging it? By drinking green tea? By rubbing coconut oil on yourself? That's not how it works. Stop this misinformation right now. <img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />Cellulite is normal. And the beauty industry capitalizes on saying we need it removed.<img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Again, I'm not going to shame a woman for trying to work to get rid of hers I completely understand and respect the decision to do so. This message isn't for her. This message is for women who crave acceptance, self love and want appreciation for their bodies as they exist right now. Also sorry for the dbl watermark, I saw some people using my photos and cropped out my name from them 🙃 how nice! #cellulitesaturday #mermaidthighs #effyourbeautystandards #bodypositivity #nobodyshame #lovetheskinyourein #thisiswhatfitlookslike

Simply amazing! Stay fierce gorgeous! Thanks for supporting the #selfiesforselflove movement 💝😾đŸŒș from @josie_landry #Repost @deegetsstronger with @repostapp ・・・ Second curvalicious cellulite post, in honor of @omgkenzieee's #cellulitesaturday's (woop woop!!!!) and her attempt to spread awareness of the shame our society has brought onto our bodies<img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> There's no shame in having squishy bits on your body, or having those same squishy bits move whenever you do. There's no shame in embracing and loving yourself, or spreading that love to others. There's no shame in participating in activities that "aren't meant for your body type". There's no shame in wearing whatever the fuck you feel most confident in. Shame is for the people who put others down for the sole sake of feeling better about themselves. For the media outlets and public figures, who would rather endorse a product that is profitable to them, than use their high positions to spread positivity and love to their audience. And for the ignorant minds who will tell you that self love is not in itself an act of spreading love to others. Health is not defined by one particular shape or size. Health is not cellulite creams/low-carb breads/fat-free yogurts/waist trainers/detox tees/fad diets/2 week ab programs/body wraps OR ANY OTHER LOAD OF CRAP THE MEDIA TRIES TO SELL YOU. Health is being aware of your body's needs – giving it rest, challenging it, nourishing it, and most of all, being able to truly call it home.<img src=" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />

More than 30 preemie babies in a Kansas City NICU enjoyed a very special first Halloween treat thanks to charity March of Dimes and volunteer photographers.

March of Dimes teamed up with Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, US, to dress up the tiny babes in handmade, mostly superhero-theme costumes and give them their own photoshoot.

SchaumburgPhotography

“March of Dimes came up with the idea of making cute costumes for our NICu babies at Saint Luke’s,” said Jennifer Robinson, from March of Dimes, “Families in the NICU may spend weeks or months here, and it can be an emotional time.”

“Providing an opportunity foe them to celebrate Halloween with their little ones allows them a sense of normalcy, and to celebrate their baby’s first milestone, which is what every family wants to do.”

SchaumburgPhotography

Photographer Helen Ransom, who also gave birth to a preemie baby, said: “These NICU sessions are one of my very favorite ways to volunteer with my photography.”

SchaumburgPhotography

“I love giving parents the NICU pictures I wish I’d had of my own preemies! Watching parents’ eyes light up during a time that can be so hard and taxing is amazing.”

Parents in the unit were also gifted a Halloween card with their baby’s footprints, a hand-crocheted pumpkin filled with candy, and a Halloween book for families to read together.

MarchOfDimes

“It’s always a little emotional capturing these types of images, but I know just how important it is to have these photos and give the families hope,” added Emmalee Schaumburg, another photographer.

MarchOfDimes

“The NICU life is emotionally draining, so the least I can is to bring some joy to these families.”

“The babies are constantly hooked up to machines, so posing them and dressing them isn’t really possible, especially in a costume. So what they did with these costumes was very clever! I was honored to be a part of it.”

The unnamed man was caught on CCTV scaling a 4-foot fence and leaping over a 10-foot-deep ditch to “play” with sleeping panda, Mei Ling.

Funnily enough, the panda didn’t take too kindly to being woken up by a strange dude trying to tickle her, and so she decided to pin him to the ground.

Back in June, this stray cat was left starving and in agony wandering the deserts of California, US, after a cruel human deliberately poured acid on the kitty’s head.

Facebook

Luckily, the cat, now named Sir Thomas Trueheart, was discovered by a woman who immediately took him to the vet.

Facebook

But his tragic tale didn’t end there, as the inept vet just gave the suffering cat antibiotics and ran some tests before suggesting Sir Thomas be put down.

Facebook

The woman who found Sir Thomas refused to give up on him, and took the kitty to Milo’s Sanctuary, a non-profit specializing in giving disabled and abused cats a second chance at life.

Sir Thomas spent a month in the capable hands of a vet certified by Milo’s Sanctuary and, after a course of antibiotics, pains meds, and surgery on his wounds, Tommy regained his strength.

Facebook

Amazingly, Tommy’s carers say he never stopped being full of affection and love towards them, despite his horrific experiences.

Facebook

“Tommy was so brave and purred and kissed the people taking care of him,” said a spokesman for Milo’s Sanctuary.

Although his trusting nature almost cost him his life, this precious kitty just wanted to give and receive affection and love.

A Woman Asked Her 20 Boyfriends To Buy Her 20 iPhones. When They Did, She Sold Them All And Bought A House.

According to the BBC, a woman in China asked all 20 of her boyfriends (yes, 20) to buy her a brand new iPhone which she then sold to buy a new house.

Blogger Proud Qiaoba shared the story about her colleague, Xiaoli (reportedly not her real name) who used the crazy demand for the latest iPhone 7 model to fund her path to homeownership.

ZimbabweDaily

Xiaoli, from Shenzen in southern China, pestered each of her 20 simultaneous lovers to buy her the just-launched iPhone 7 until they gave in and gifted her the smartphone. She sold all of the phones to a mobile phone recycling website for 120,000 Chinese yuan (around $17,730).

The BBC reports that it’s pretty tough to get on the housing ladder in China, so Xiaoli used her ill-gotten gains to put down a deposit on a house in the countryside.

Wikipedia

The story quickly went viral on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. Qiaoba wrote that Xiaoli is “not from a wealthy family. Her mom is a housewife and her dad is a migrant worker, and she is the oldest daughter.”

“Her parents are getting old and she might be under a lot of pressure to buy them a house. But it’s still unbelievable that she could use this method!”

And her parents are allegedly pretty proud of their daughter’s financial (and romantic) achievement, although we’re not sure her boyfriends are as pleased now that this is now international news.

DigitalTrends

Some people have been impressed by Xiaoli’s efforts, writing: “I can’t even find one boyfriend. She can actually find 20 boyfriends at the same time and even get them to buy her an iPhone 7. Just want to ask her to teach me such skills.”

Others were less kind, calling Xiaoli “shameful”.

But Xiaoli had the last laugh — she’s got 20 boyfriends, a house, and, for a while anyway, 20 iPhones. You can’t help but be impressed by her daring!

Stephanie Kahan was on a plane flying from Boston to San Francisco, US, on Halloween when she encountered a man who is the indisputable winner of Dad of the Year.

Stephanie had been on the plane an hour when she saw another passenger handing out candy to people sitting in the plane’s aisle seats.

Twitter

She tweeted the strange experience, posting a photo of the note that the man gave his fellow passengers.

It turned out the awesome dad was making sure his little girl got to go trick-or-treating for Halloween — even if she was thousands of feet up in the air.

“My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight,” he had written, “so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her.”

Twitter

“If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re not willing, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!”

Stephanie said that the dad “had this planned for a while with her as a special treat” and added that, “the few rows around me were really into it and thought it was absolutely adorable.”

Twitter

“I mentioned it to the dad that I had tweeted and had over 5,000 retweets, he was shocked and couldn’t believe it. I asked if he wanted to be included in the story by name and he said, ‘no, it was really not a big deal,” said Stephanie.

“I could tell he was pretty humbled hearing that what he did caused such a positive reaction. He obviously wasn’t doing it for the reaction, he just was genuinely doing it for his daughter.”

N’aww, mystery dad — you rule!

This 46-Year-Old Grandma Stopped Eating All Food Except Fruit And Her Transformation Is Unbelievable

46-year-old grandmother Belinda White from Yorkshire, UK, claims to have “the body of an athlete” and to be “the real life Benjamin Button”, all because she eats nothing but fruit.

Belinda, who believes she now looks half her age, is a mom-of-three, yoga teacher, and singer who’s ditched cigarettes, processed food, and meat and dairy from her diet.

DailyMail

She learned about nutrition from documentaries such as Earthlings and Vegucated, and, overnight, turned her family vegan — she even threatened to leave her husband if he didn’t change his eating habits.

“I was so strong about it that I was prepared to end my relationship with him, which sounds extreme,” she says, “But to be intimate with someone and share the body smells
when you become a vegan, you don’t have the same BO or breath.”

Belinda also claims the diet cured her fibromyalgia, reduced her pain from osteoarthritis by “95 per cent” and boosted her energy levels.

DailyMail

“It is almost like returning to my youth. I feel like I have turned the clock backwards. it’s incredible. I look like I’m 28 but I am 46.”

“I’ve lost about two stone and my partner lost around two stone and had terrible psoriasis all over his body which has now cleared considerably.”

“Before, I just felt old. Since doing this, I take no medication and I’m teaching yoga four time s a week. My physical body has gone like it was when I was in my twenties. My cellulite has dissolved and my pain from arthritis has been reduced.”

“I feel better in every way. I am the female Benjamin Button,” she added.

DailyMail

For breakfast, Belinda eats half a watermelon and drinks water with lemon juice, before heading to work with two giant flasks of smoothies made from eight bananas, dates, and frozen mangoes.

For a typical dinner, she’ll have an avocado, cherry tomatoes, mung beans, and peppers, with a big glass of orange juice. She snacks on energy balls made of medjool dates, cashew nuts, raw cocoa powder, and coconut.

Belinda says her doctors have been blown away by the improvement in her health, telling her she has the body of an athlete.

“A few years ago, I would have considered veganism to be very extreme. But the effects on me have been amazing.”

DailyMail

“I got a doctor to test everything and my results were just so good and incredible that the hospital said I was like an athlete.”

“I realized that the number one killer in our country is heart disease caused by high cholesterol and, in my opinion, meat and dairy cause this type of blockage.”

“People should do what I’ve done because I believe that each and every person who hears them, something inside them realizes that is it the truth.”

Although Belinda’s two sons, Tom, 18, and Joe, 13, were initially reluctant to ditch burgers and ice cream, they are both now vegan.

“Anyone who is suffering should try this,” advises Belinda, “Something inside of you instinctively knows it will help.”

Can You Work Out Which Box The Car Is In For This Latest Viral Brainteaser?

boxcar

Another brainteaser is sweeping the web and this one might just be the trickiest (but also the simplest) yet — creators Brilliant.org claim that only 36% of people have been able to get it right.

The simple challenge is to decide which box a car is in, based on the information given below.

Brilliant

Each box is labeled with a statement, but only one of the statements are true. And, believe it or not, this is enough information to derermine which box the car is in.

Brilliant

Did you get it right? The answer is that the car is in
 Box two!

Brilliant

If the car was in box one, it would mean the the statements on box on and box two would be correct, so that can’t be right, and the same goes for box three.

But, because the car is in box two, that means only the statement on box three is correct — and there’s your answer.

We all know booze can be bad for us, but it can be all too difficult to resist that evening glass of wine, or pint of beer at the weekend. Too much alcohol can cause high blood pressure, raising your risk of a heart attack or stroke, and there’s a whole lotta calories in your favorite tipple.

The people below have given up the drink for good, and their transformations are nothing short of unbelievable.

A loyal cat was so heartbroken when her human died, she’s spent the last year lying by the woman’s grave.

Mirror

The cat refused to leave the spot for twelve months, despite being given food and water by passers-by, and was first heard crying in the dirt at the burial plot in Central Java, Indonesia.

Mirror

A local man, Keli Keningau Payitno, 28, tried to adopt her, but the cat would always return to lie beside her previous owner’s headstone.

“Since the cat’s mother died, she has stayed here at the grave,” said Keli, “She does not want to go home.”

Mirror

“I thought she was homeless and tried to help, but every time she would keep returning to the same place. I saw her everyday and noticed that she was always there, sometimes [she] would leave for a couple of hours and then come back.”

Mirror

“I followed here and she was going to the home where she used to live and the lady’s children would feed her. then the cat would go back again to the same place. She sleeps there and meows.”

Mirror

“It’s very sad to see. It shows just how close animals are to their owners.”

Khloe Kardashian Is Being Accused Of Cultural Appropriation For Wearing This Controversial Hairstyle

The Kardashian family are no strangers to sparking controversy in the media, but 32-year-old Khloe might have gone too far this time.

My girls did me right @joycebonelli @justinemarjan 💋

It all started when fashion designer Marc Jacobs sent a troop of models down the runway for his Spring fashion show in multicolored rainbow dreadlocks.

A lot of people were pretty mad that Jacobs had styled his — mostly white — models in the traditional black hairstyle, and jumped to accuse him of cultural appropriation.

Critics questioned why Jacobs didn’t just use black models on the runway, as they wouldn’t have needed the fake dreads and would redress some of the perceived racial bias in the fashion industry.

Khloe’s sister Kendall also walked in the Marc Jacobs show, wearing the controversial dreadlocks.

And then Khloe joined in, posting a photo of herself with the rainbow hairstyle to promote her fashion blog article about Spring’s “hottest” beauty trends.

SomeEntertainment

And many people were furious that, despite the backlash against the hairstyle in Marc Jacobs’ fashion show, Khloe brazenly repackaged an important part of black culture as a kind of novelty to promote herself.

While Marc Jacobs was quick to defend his styling choices, Khloe instead wrote: “I absolutely despise [the dreadlocks] on me! I think dreads are really cool, but the rainbow combine with the dreads is just too much on me.”

Unsurprisingly, people were not impressed with that statement.

But some did defend Khloe, arguing that “no one owns a culture”.

So what do you think? Has Khloe been stupidly insensitive by sporting the already-controversial look, or has the whole cultural appropriation debate been blown way out of proportion?

Men With “Dad Bods” Are More Attractive To Women And Live Longer Than Fit Guys, Says New Study

In case you missed it, the “dad bod” is the term for the cuddlier guys carrying a little extra weight and — proudly — not the ripped, six-packed, bulging bicep-sporting models we usually see.

And, according to new research, women are actually more attracted to these chunkier fellas who shun pumping iron for pizza.

Buzzfeed

According to Richard Bribiescas, Professor Anthropology at Yale University, older men with children and a little extra weight are more attractive to ladies.

Their kids suggest fertility, which throughout human history has been a pretty important asset to look for in a male partner.

But that’s not all. In Bribiescas’ new book, How Men Age, he states that that cuddly post-fatherhood belly is actually due to decreasing testosterone levels, which prolong a man’s life and strengthen the immune system.

A photo posted by CollegeDadBodsℱ (@collegedadbods) on

Despite all the warnings about being overweight, some studies have shown that chubby dads are less likely to suffer from heart attacks and prostate cancer, too.

“One effect of lower testosterone levels is loss of muscle mass and increases in fat mass,” writes Bribiescas, “The change in body composition not only causes men to shop for more comfortable trousers, but also facilitates increased survivorship and, hypothetically, promotes and supports paternal investment.”

Basically, forget the muscly macho man — guys who look like older dads are a more attractive prospect to women on the lookout for a potential partner.

Vox

“Macho makes you sick,” adds Prof Bribiescas. “The Hollywood image of the swaggering, dashing man dispatching bad guys and carrying the day conjures up a perception of indestructibility.

“While men are on average larger and physically stronger than women, men have a considerable weakness. We have a harder time fighting off infections and illness compared with women, and
men simply do not take care of themselves.”

So there you have it. Sadly, we’re still waiting for the “mom bod” to come into fashion

People Are Demanding This Anorexic Vlogger Shut Down Her Page Due To “Negative Influence”

An online petition demanding vlogger Eugenia Cooney be banned from YouTube has gained more than 14,000 signatures, due to concerns that she “glorifies” anorexia.

With 500k Instagram followers and nearly a million YouTube subscribers, Eugenia’s skeletal frame has sparked serious debate online.

YouTube

But now worried viewer Carol Lynn has created a petition on Change.org in the hope that Eugenia will be forcibly taken offline.

“Eugenia Cooney has a serious medical condition,” writes Carol on the petition, “She has been influencing her viewers by her serious underweight condition.”

“She does this bodily harm to herself and shows young girls, such as her viewers on social media, that it is ‘okay’ to be suffering from anorexia nervosa.”

“She knows that she’s influencing young teenage girls into thinking 60lbs is normal. It’s most definitely not.”

Eugenia herself dedicated a vlog to the petition, apologizing and also accusing her critics of simply generating yet more negativity.

YouTube

“I just wanted to make this because I’m really sorry to everyone who is angry or upset with me, I’m really not trying to do anything wrong. I’ve never tried to influence anyone badly and I never encourage people to try to look like me.”

“I just wish people would be less hateful and be more positive.”

However, it must be said it’s hard to feel positive about a seriously underweight teenager acting as a role model to such a large number of youngsters.

Woke up like an hour ago good morning guys 😾 how are you doing today? 💕

22-year-old Eugenia, who is based in New York, has long insisted she is simply “naturally slender” and denied having an eating disorder.

YouTube have so far not commented on removing Cooney’s channel, but they have highlighted their policy in which videos with “an express intention to glorify or promote eating disorders are removed”.
