For the first day of Movember, early visitors to Australia’s stunning Bondi Beach found 191 pairs of men’s shoes laid out in the sand, highlighting the number of men in Australia who take their own lives every month.
The installation, on one of the world’s most iconic beaches, was a stark reminder that this month isn’t just about growing a funny moustache — it’s about raising awareness of male suicide, as well as prostate and testicular cancer.
“Over the course of a month there’s around 190 men take their life and the idea was to have a pair of shoes for every adolescent boy and man taking their life.”
It’s a topic close to Garone’s heart, as eight of his friends have committed suicide in the past few years.

Jenna Levine, 19, is a student at Syracuse University in New York, US. As well as the usual stresses of exams and essays, Jenna had a more unusual problem — her neighbor’s very noisy late-night antics.
“Hello neighbor, please have sex a little more quietly please,” she wrote, “Some of us are trying to nap and not be reminded of how alone I am… feel free to make all the love you want. Just please, make it nasty at a lower volume. Thank you!”
“Dearest neighbors,” the reply read, “I’m so, so, incredibly sorry about that. I didn’t realize how loud I was being…” started the note, before going on to offer some words of comfort to “lonely” Jenna.

We just hope those neighbors keep their promise and “make it nasty” a little quieter in future…
Chinese developers, Greenland Group, may have an £800 million budget for the building, but clearly the design needed a little more thought.
New names already being suggested for the building include the Towering Innuendo, the Crystal Phallus, and even just The Penis, to join the Walkie Talkie and the Gherkin, London’s other iconic skyscrapers.
Hilarious.
“We drove up. My husband ran out, and I said, ‘She’s crowning’ and her head came out,” Paula explained.
“To me, it was beautiful. It didn’t matter if it was in my house or in the car, in the hospital — it didn’t matter.”
Then, 7 months after the unorthodox delivery, Paula and her husband were in for another shock — the hospital had sent them a bill for a whopping $7,000.
“I mean, like, yes, charge me,” says Paula, “But not $7,000.”
While she did receive aftercare in the hospital, it’s pretty obvious that Paula didn’t exactly use all of the hospital’s birthing facilities.
The hospital has so far refused to comment, and has made no moves to adjust Paula’s bill.
Share if you think agree the hospital’s actions are totally outrageous!
Prices start at around $120 and you can buy this super cute jewelry on Etsy.
“It’s pretty much a time capsule, having been owned by a woman who rented out the rooms for $300 a month.”
“It looks like the owner just got up and left.”

The letter, titled “To The Man Doing My Wife”, was posted to Craigslist and, instead of threatening or insulting the other man, known only as Jacks S., simply offers a few requests.
1. Please stop leaving the seat up. I keep getting blamed and it is starting to get old.
2. You may be giving me a chance to fishing more often, but please stop drinking all my beer. If you have to have a couple while you visit (god knows I drink plenty before I find her attractive), but please leave me a few as I have to be there longer than you.
“Please do not tell my children that you are their uncle, they are young, not mentally challenged,” he continued. “When she asks, ‘Do these pants make me look fat’, sat no. You may think giving a different answer will make her think twice about eating a gallon of ice cream a day, but all you are doing is giving her a reason to go buy more pants that she will look just as fat in.”
“Stop eating the baked goods. The brownies you are were from my mom for my birthday. My wife has not cooked anything that good for years and if she does she will not share.”
“Lastly, I would like to thank you for taking her to lunch on Valentine’s Day. She was not as hungry as usual and only ordered one meal. I may be able to use the money I saved to take the children to a movie.”
“I hope you can help me with these items,” ends the brutal note, “It may become awkward if I have to confront her. If you can do this for me, I will give you a heads up on when I will be gone and for how long, so that you don’t feel rushed.”
“P.S., I am going to tae the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge on the 3rd April for four days. I have a bottle of vodka above the fridge if you find yourself low on beer.”
And the spurned husband signs the note, “Thanks, this was not written by anyone named Jack S.”
Everyone’s favorite Photoshop troublemaker, James Fridman, is back with yet more hilarious photo editing that leave anyone requesting he “fixes” their snaps with a little more than they bargained for.
Twitter user LaRose, real name Vicky, shared a photo of her freshly manicured nails last week, leaving thousands of people baffled as many failed to spot what exactly was wrong with the bizarre snap.

Kenton noticed that many children in Nairobi didn’t have shoes, so their feet were covered in cuts and sores.
Shoes can be expensive and, as kids grow so fast, they need new pairs of shoes much more often than adults. So, if parents can’t afford new shoes, these kids just go without. Kenton met children who had repurposed too-small old shoes by cutting them open, or attaching scraps of cardboard to them.
But what if you could create a shoe that could grow with the child? Continue reading to see Kenton’s amazing invention.
On November 3rd, the divorce was finalized. You’d expect any separating couple to be pretty angry and bitter towards one another, but Morgan’s dad decided to do something a little different.

Oh, you guys.
Nick woke up to find the living room taped off, with a sign from his mom declaring the room “CLOSED until Thanksgiving”.

The conditions included being “showered, and dirt and odor free from top to toe” and “wearing freshly laundered clothing”, but insisted that even if those conditions were met “NO food or drinks are permitted” in the room.
The note was signed, “Mom, payer of the bills, chauffeur, person ruining your life.”

An Indian man has made headlines due to his heartbreaking efforts to get his wife a proper burial — and the amazing show of support he received from strangers.
He wanted to transport his beloved wife, Kavitha, back to her hometown of Hyderabad, in western India, but with only around $14 on him, he couldn’t afford the $74 ambulance fee.
So he created a makeshift stretcher and dragged Kavitha’s body behind him as he walked.
Continue reading to see what bystanders did to help the heartbroken man.
